so i am going thru my phases again.... i got rid of my discus and decided to get flowerhorns

i get a male for a hell of a deal and after a day or so of having him i decide to get him a female
well after about a week or so i find a female for a crazy cheap price

so i now have a flowerhorn pair .... well they took to each other right away so i didnt even need to put a
divider between them

well 2 days after introducing her to my tank(110 with just the FH's)

they decided to spawn

heres the proof..lol

here is the pair
Image
hopefully they ALL get fertilized

thanks guys!

im looking over the eggs and theres only a very few white ones
so im guessing im gonna try to remove them to make sure nothing
happens to the rest of the batch....

would i be right to assume that if no more turn white by the end of the day
they are all fertilized?

A few eggs always fungus. Usually the female will fan the eggs and keep them clean. As long as they are not eating the eggs, I would leave them with the parents. If you do move the eggs, give them a little air to keep the water slightly moving. Also add an anti-fungal medication (methylene blue) to the tank.

where can i get the meth blue?

im guessin 6 - 7 hundred eggs....

should i add an airstone to the eggs?
the female isnt fanning them as much as she was earlier

also do you guys think i should try to remove the fungused eggs?
i've been thinking about it but im afraid that if i interfere the female might
end up eating all her eggs due to her feeling that her eggs are threatened

You can get the methylene blue at any fish store.Thats only if youre going to try and pull the eggs and hatch them in a separate tank.IMO its always best to see if the parents can raise fry themselves even if the first few attempts fail. You can always pull a later spawn if they arent good parents.
