Auction Announcement

 NY Cichlid Forum is pleased to announce that we are in the planning stages of a fall auction. We need your help with what you would like to see, suggestions on how you would like to see it run and what in particular would draw you to it. As we are starting from scratch, we want to avoid any mistakes on what is a big operation, hence the reason for wanting input from you, as we would like this to be an inclusive venture. The auction will be a great place to put a face to a name. It will also give you, the members, greater access to fish and supplies through sales, vendors and raffles. We are in the process of negotiating with some big companies for donations and we hope to have a small number of vendors at the venue. Additional details will be supplied as we work them out NY Cichlid Forum intends for this auction to be the base of things to come for its members, with more events to take place on the back of the success we are sure to make of this event Details of the auction and its contributors, the people working behind the scenes and any vendors will be announced further on this thread when they become available. Our goal is to host a well operated auction that is a pleasure to be part of. Any profits generated, will be used to pay for the hosting of the auction, prizes for the forum, member meets and maintenance of this forum only. We also intend to make a charitable donation to a deserving cause on behalf of the forum. Do you want to help by being part of the “Auction day team†? If so contact Emtbmike. We are in the process of determining what help will be needed that day and will get back to you with the openings we have available.
